Matt has 20 years of experience in communications, marketing and public affairs. He brings a consumer marketing mindset and approach to brands and cause-driven organizations that seek to tap into cultural trends in order to connect with target audiences. He’s had the privilege of leading and collaborating with many outstanding teams in the development and execution of award-winning integrated marketing and communications campaigns across energy, health care, media, financial services, manufacturing, non-profit and government sectors.
While at Edelman, Matt has counseled corporate, non-profit and trade association clients on developing and executing integrated communications and marketing campaigns. Matt leads a diverse set of client accounts at Edelman including B2B and B2C accounts, corporate reputation, crisis and public affairs. In addition to this work, Matt advises clients on digital strategies and develops and executes other digital marketing campaigns.
Matt also led communications and marketing for a national non-profit organization and worked on Capitol Hill where he served as an official spokesperson and promoted energy and environment policies and legislation that encouraged economic growth and environmental stewardship. Matt has a BA in Political Science and has completed training at Georgetown University School of Continuing Studies and Kellogg School of Management, Northwestern University.
