Matthew Streit serves as Managing Director at Edelman Global Advisory for corporate and public affairs. In this role, he leads the development of integrated communications for global corporations and international public affairs campaigns.

Mr. Streit joined Edelman Global Advisory after five years at Edelman where he helped corporate, NGO and trade association clients develop and execute integrated communications and marketing campaigns. He’s used his background in politics and public policy to help high-profile clients through reputational, regulatory and political crisis issues. Over his career, he’s served a diverse set of clients in the energy, technology, health care, media, financial services, defense, manufacturing, NGO and government sectors and helped them achieve business and public policy objectives.

Before Edelman Global Advisory, Mr. Streit led communications and marketing for 10 years at Washington, DC’s largest public policy organization where he designed campaigns to advance important public policy initiatives. Mr. Streit started his career on Capitol Hill where he served as a communications director and spokesperson for the House Committee on Natural Resources promoting energy and environment policies and legislation that encouraged economic growth and environmental stewardship.

Mr. Streit has a BA in Political Science and has completed training at Georgetown University School of Continuing Studies and Kellogg School of Management, Northwestern University.
