Jim Glennon is Executive Chair, Dublin for Edelman Global Advisory, specialising in strategic advice and senior counsel for key global and European clients in the tech, retail, health and pharmaceutical, consumer, not-for-profit and financial and banking sectors. Vastly experienced in the Irish healthcare sector, Mr. Glennon also serves as Chair of Medisec Ireland CLG, which he founded in 1994. Medisec is the only Irish company to offer professional indemnity and advisory services to General Practitioners. As Chair of Fingal Age Friendly Alliance, Mr. Glennon also sits on the national board of Age Friendly Ireland.

A former politician, Mr. Glennon was elected to Seanad Éireann in a by-election for the Industrial and Commercial Panel in 2000 and to Dáil Éireann in 2002 where he served as Fianna Fáil TD for the Constituency of Dublin North until stepping down before the 2007 election. Using his peerless political network and experience in both houses of the Irish Parliament, Mr. Glennon counsels' senior leadership on a range of issues including crisis management, messaging and positioning, stakeholder identification and engagement, as well as media training.

Passionate about diversity and inclusion, Mr. Glennon is a member of the Dublin Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) Council and is an advocate within the business for driving DEI engagement and cultural change. In his role on the DEI Council, Mr. Glennon also works in a strategic advisory capacity with Pavee Point (Traveller and Roma representative organisation).
