With 15 years of experience in both the private and public sectors, Mr. Walsh is the President of EGA Canada. A 2014 40 Under 40 recipient, Mr. Walsh is responsible for building business across all Edelman services and expanding the company’s public affairs offerings nationwide.

Before joining Edelman, Mr. Walsh was national director of business development for Hill + Knowlton Canada, where he built and led Hill + Knowlton’s procurement practice, counselling Canadian and international companies on initiating and maintaining long-term relationships with government and public-sector organizations. Mr. Walsh's extensive experience on Parliament Hill includes working in the office of the official opposition’s House Leader and serving as Director of Parliamentary Affairs in the office of the Minister of Public Works.

He also played a key role in leadership and federal campaigns for former Prime Minister Stephen Harper, including his time as member of the Minister’s Advance Team. After growing up as a competitive skier, Mr. Walsh proudly supports the careers of local Olympic skiers in Ottawa. He also serves as the president and chairman of the RBC Ottawa Bluesfest which has helped him see his favourite band, the Allman Brothers a whopping 51 times.
