On August 28th, Quebec’s 2022 election kicked off with a five-week election campaign culminating on Election day, October 3rd. According to a recent Leger poll, the slate of issues on top of Quebecers' minds include inflation and the cost of living, health care, the environment and climate change, and senior's care. François Legault's CAQ starts this election campaign with a considerable lead over the other party’s, with 42% of voter intentions as of August 26th, which could equate to around 100 of the 125 seats available.
