EGA India offers an Update on Cryptocurrency Regulation in India, reviewing the growing interest in regulating the cryptocurrency market in India following the introduction of new provisions aimed at taxing and tracking Virtual Digital Assets (VDAs) during the annual Union Budget presentation on February 1, 2022 and the approval of the Finance Bill 2022 on March 25, 2022.
