Peter Fraser serves as Senior advisor and head of the Australia unit of Edelman Global Advisory - the newly established public affairs and government relations arm of communications firm Edelman. Prior to joining Edelman, Peter served as a Chief of Staff to an Australian Federal Cabinet minister and has served as a Chief of Staff or Senior Adviser to various Australian Premiers and leaders of major political parties.

He has a demonstrated track record of heading complex government, stakeholder, media and corporate assignments with multi-disciplinary teams involving politically or commercially sensitive projects, having advised the Minerals Council of Australia, Queensland Department of Education and various ASX listed companies. ​

Peter has also built and managed teams of corporate affairs, government relations, community relations, media and digital communication practitioners having founded Australia’s first social media intelligence and risk management firm SR7. He has also served as member of Charles Sturt University’s executive leadership team where he was responsible for securing government approval for Australia’s newest medical school.
