Gracie Sun serves as Vice Chair of APAC and Managing Director for Edelman Global Advisory. Gracie previously served as President for China of Basilinna. Ms. Sun is also a Senior Advisor to China at The Paulson Institute at The University of Chicago, founded by the Former U.S. Treasury Secretary Henry M. Paulson where she helps lead the Institute's green finance initiatives.
For the past 20 years, Ms. Sun has represented and advised multinational corporations on government strategy, market access, communication strategy, crisis management, intellectual property, and investment issues in China, serving in wide range of industries including Pharmaceutical, Telecommunication, Media, and Financial Organizations. Ms. Sun's clients have included Sesame Workshop, Sony Music, Time Warner, Nielson, Pfizer, and many other companies.
Prior to that, she also worked as a Senior Counsel at Ogilvy Public Relations China. She served as Executive Vice President of Sierra Asia, an advisory firm based in Beijing, Shanghai and Washington DC, founded by a former senior level U.S. trade official. She was Managing Director for China with leading global consulting firm Albright Stonebridge Group, where she served as the China Representative to the U.S. Chamber of Commerce and represented major U.S., European and Chinese firms in the market. She also worked for MBP Consulting, a consulting practice of Mayer Brown LLC, a top 10 global law firm. She holds an MBA.
